Cookin’ with a Terry Twist is checking in midsummer to share the Best of the Best Summer Recipes comfort foods YOU are cooking and eating this summer. We are in the midst of one AWESOME summer in Michigan! I hope you are enjoying yours as much as I am enjoying mine. Summer takes us outdoors to cook meats, fish and fowl, enjoying main dish salads or eating lighter fare. The Cookin’ With A Terry Twist followers from all over the world have been cookin’ up a storm. But it’s not summer everywhere as I can tell by some of the recipes that are being enjoyed. I know some of you must be experiencing cooler temps in the Southern hemisphere because I see numerous pot roast views and likes through my comfort food boards on Pinterest, Yummly and Stumbleupon!
Additionally, I was thrilled to see that my recipe for Mac & Cheese for a Crowd made the scene at some summer camp and Vacation Bible school lunches!! The kiddos all love mac & cheese and it definitely goes a long way when feeding a crowd! Thanks to everyone for sharing your comments!

I so love your recipes! When winter comes, that’s when I like to play in the kitchen. Summertime is way too hot. However, thankfully, I’ve been pinning yours so I can go back to them later and try them!
