A Delicious Father’s Day

Give Dad the gift of delicious homemade food, this year!
Whether you are cooking burgers, pork chops or steaks, I am sharing two potato dishes, both using my favorite potato, the Yukon gold, that Dad is sure to love! Also included is an appetizer that will hold him over until dinner and one of most men’s favorite “vegetable” – corn on the cob with a pat of my Garlic Herb Butter on top! If you are cooking burgers don’t forget to use my How to Make A Juicy Burger Tip! If smoked sausage is more to his liking, we’ve got a recipe for Smoked Sausage glazed with honey mustard that will please Dad’s taste buds as well! And of course the unbeatable ribeye steak. A bonus tip to flavor that steak to perfection!

That crab cake with remoulade sauce looks delicious and these potato dishes are right up the summertime alley.
Kim, thanks for the thorough review of the recipes and glad they will be right up your alley!
All of this looks great! Well maybe not the crab cakes, but only because I don’t like seafood, but I am sure my husband would love them!
Desirae, so glad you like the menu (well, except for the crab cakes!) Do try the remoulade sauce, it is so good; I even like it as a veggie dip!
What wonderful ideas for Father’s Day!! I’m all about that corn on the cob!
Serene, thanks so much for commenting and glad you liked the Father’s Day menu ideas! The herb butter melted on the corn on the cob takes an already delicious dish and makes it that much better!
Love corn in the cob and with herbed butter?! Yummy! I know you have two potato salads, but I’d be tempted to make homefries or baked potato as well. Oh and grilled pineapple 🙂
Thanks Brandie for commenting on the Father’s Day post! Wait until you try the herb butter, you will want it on everything! I love the idea of grilled pineapple for dessert, yummy!
